Dear Mrs Bruce

Re: Hotel Receptionist Vacancy

I would like to reply for the position of Hotel Receptionist, as advertised in the Wigan Reporter on Thursday 8th August.

I am 24 years old and for the past 3 years I have been employed as a general clerical assistant in a small construction company. Your vacancy is of particular interest to me as my duties involve taking phone calls, arranging appointments and greeting clients, which I feel to be key for this post.

I have a very pleasant, outgoing personality and am accustomed to dealing with people of all ages and levels.

I enclose a copy of my current CV for your information. Please contact me should you require any further details.

I look forward to hearing from you

Yours sincerely

R. Beaumont
