New CNC controlled countersinking machine for CFE

CFE have completed an investment of £150,000 at their plant in Wigan. We
have installed a new CNC controlled countersinking machine capable of
refurbishing pellet dies of 2mm diameter and up to two tonnes in weight.
CFE use high-pressure water technology to refurbish pelleting consumables at
their plants in Ireland and the U.K.
It is the first machine of its kind in Western Europe.
The inaugural CFE Cup Competition

The inaugural CFE Cup Competition was played in Killarney Golf and Fishing Club on Wednesday June 11th.
It was contested by the Compound Feed Millers of Ireland and the UK. The Irish team was captained by Ivan Darragh of ABNA in Lisburn and the British team was captained by Steve Whitefoot of British Sugar.
The event was sponsored by CFE Ltd based in Castleisland, Ireland and Haydock in the UK.
CFE supply pelleting consumables to the feed milling industry.
Ireland won the competition. Six teams of two played each other and Ireland won four matches to two.

On Wednesday June 11th at the Killeen Course of the Killarney Golf and Fishing Club, the Compound Feed Millers of Ireland take on their counterparts in the UK competing for the CFE Cup.
There are two teams of twelve representing feed mills from throughout Ireland and the UK. Ivan Darragh, Operations Manager of ABNA Northern Ireland, captains the Irish team and Steve Whitefoot, Mill Manager of British Sugar, Bury St Edmonds captains the UK team.
The event is sponsored by CFE based at Castleisland, Co. Kerry and Haydock, Merseyside.
Major Expansion for CFE

CFE specialist refurbishers and suppliers of animal feed manufacturing equipment have announced a major expansion programme of its U.K. operations.
This is part of a £500,000 capital expenditure programme that involves the purchase of an 8,500 square feet premises in Haydock, Merseyside and includes the investment of a complete automated roll refurbishing line, pneumatic balancers, manipulators and an automated washing unit.
CFE director Con Lynch says the investment is designed to ensure CFE retains our premier position in the pelleting consumable market. Our objective is to deliver value for money to the compounders by offering them a cost per tonne proposal, whereby CFE offers a service contract to manage their pelleting machine wearing parts.
