Puerto Banus

We are situated within a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute car journey from the world famous Puerto Banus Marina with its bevy of beautiful boats ranging from high speed offshore boats and yachts to luxurious cruisers owned by the likes of Michael Douglas and King Fahed of Saudi Arabia.

In Puerto Banus you will find fishermen with their nets and a marina full of luxury yachts.

If you really want to have a bird´s eye view of the port´s magnificent position, then regular boat trips are the ideal solution and available on a regular basis from the central promenade.The beach adjacent to Puerto Banus holds a European blue flag.

The Port

The "Port" is world famous for its entertainment of movie stars and the like. The restaurants are therefore used to presenting the finest food available with prices being surprisingly affordable.

Puerto Banus is a great place to take a coffee and watch the celebrities who make this the place to be seen in. Don't be surprised if you see Sean Connery or Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffiths walking down the front as they have a house here and he even has a street named after him!

Puerto Banus is located just west of Marbella, before you reach the small town of San Pedro de Alcantara. The setting is close to ideal, with its impressive mountain backdrop and ocean views. Since its inception some forty years ago, the port has steadily grown and now features a casino, commercial shopping centre, a Corte Ingles department store, marine observatory and a multi cinema with films shown with their original soundtrack.

Nightlife & Shopping

Nightlife buzzes at Puerto Banus with your choice of alfresco bars, piano clubs and discos while during the day this is a window shopper´s dream with several of the world renowned fashions houses featured here, in addition to small, interesting shops and boutiques.

Puerto Banus is famous for its high class shopping , so if your purse allows, you can buy all the " names" you have ever heard of. If your purse won't stretch that far, it is still a fun to fantasy shop.

Every Saturday morning at Puerto Banus by the bullring is a very popular street market where you can pick up all sorts of bargains.
